Alas, the birth of ElanScan has come . . .
Thanks to the ingenuity of Alan McNicol we can now use our home computers to interface the Elan's ALDL port. Why do you want to do this? Well the program allows you to view and record the data coming from the engine and other sensors to the Elan's computer. It is a vital tool which can be used for at-home diagnosis of sensor and other faults; real-time viewing and recording of data from road conditions; and as an aid for tuning and performance upgrades.

If you are using the program and want to
send me some of your collected data you may do so.
I recommend you bundle it into a .zip
file and email to me for
posting.
Please include with your data email a description of your Elan type and any performance upgrades. Also include separate files if you are changing anything on your Elan between runs and please state the change made.
